 There are so many things I love about this bouquet I'm not sure where to start. The rhinestone shell brooch? The mixture of the purple shades? The mind-blowing orchid varieties? Yes, all of the above.

 Seriously- how neat are these? Mother Nature does it again....

 Petal filled cones dangle on each row-ending chair for the processional.

 Thinking of a destination beach wedding on the Central Coast? Do it. You won't regret it!

 So fun. If you think Charlie's flower, tie and vest are cool- you should have seen his shoes! Black patent leather sneakers with purple laces! I wish I would have gotten a shot of those bad boys!

Congrats you two! You had a beautiful wedding day and we hope you have a beautiful life together!

Edna Valley Vineyard

 Carolyn and Mitch had a very small, intimate wedding- so all their guests could fit at one long table. I think it makes quite a statement when you walk in the room! It's so regal looking!

 Carolyn was going for a very "open, airy and natural" look for her centerpieces. I hope she was pleased with the final product!

 The cake sitting by what is NOT a framed photo....but the actual view of Edna Valley! I know, it's ridiculously beautiful.

 I know, it's pretty nerdy- but I thought it was really fun that one of the guests was also named Melinda! It's a pretty rare name these days. I just had to snap a photo to show her!



I heart Papeterie

So as I'm cruising the Internet, saving links and photos of things I love and gathering ideas for my wedding, I occasionally come upon something I feel compelled to share with you all! Today it is the lovely Papeterie Stationary company. Their designs are GORGEOUS!!! They do everything from invitations and save-the-date cards to place cards and table numbers! Having every step of your wedding visually coordinate with the same graphic design element is a great way to reinforce the theme, colors, and tone of your wedding! One stop shopping at Papeterie! My favorite line is "Medallion" (shown below). It totally goes with the look I'm aimig for with our wedding! But with all their options, I'm sure you can find one that works for yours as well! And they're not just limited to weddings......baby showers, dinner parties, birthday parties- any special occasion! They even have Letterpress options for all you Letterpress groupies out there....I know you're listening! Oh- and if it wasn't good enough already- they give 5% of their profits to charity. Something Blue at Edna Valley Vineyard

 One of our new favorite pieces to customize for weddings: The Ring Bearer Box!

 The day of the wedding, Melinda finished off the bouquet with a special blue antique brooch. Perhaps it was old and borrowed too? Three birds with one stone? How efficient that would be!

 Large arrangements on wine barrels anchor the ceremony space on the lawn.

 I don't know about you, but I love a good swirl pattern aisle....

 Aisle clusters with real grapes, grape vines, roses, hydrangea, stock and greenery.

 Creative uses of monograms are one of our favorite trends this year! On the aisle, on the cake, invitations, napkins, the possibilities are endless!

 The view from the Edna Valley Vineyard dining room is hard to beat!

 Adding special details that compliment your venue make the wedding decor come full circle. Whether it's a winery, beach, English garden, rustic mountain lodge, country barn, or whatever- consider including elements that make a subtle nod to your surroundings!
