I thought it would be fun to honor Dr. King today by showing off a photo of his wedding day!
I love that Coretta is rocking that giant corsage! And MLK Jr. in the all white...very dapper!
Martin and Coretta were married on June 18, 1953 on the lawn of her parents' home in Marion, Alabama. Martin's father, the Reverend King, Sr., performed the wedding ceremony.
