Alexandra & Danny

Alexandra & Danny
October 17th, 2009

Alexandra's bouquet had so much texture and depth it was difficult to capture it in a photo...
Our favorite part of the bouquet was the teardrop crystal from her grandmother's chandelier for her "something old" - just beautiful!

This bouquet had a lot going on....purple stock, purple lisianthus, bells of ireland, thistles, orange protea, and a collar of lemon leaf.
The bridesmaid bouquets

Some of the flowers photograph on the blue side, but in reality they are purple....
They contained thistles, purple stock, purple lisianthus, purple carnations and a collar of lemon leaf. They are finished off with orange ribbon that was the exact shade of the girls' dresses.

Instead of wearing a wrist or pin-on corsage, the mother of the bride carried a clutch purse with her flowers attached.

Alexandra wanted the boutonnieres to be very simple since the guys were dressed in full-on Scottish formal wear...kilts and all! It is just three thistles atop a galax leaf.
The Reception flowers:

Large cylinders with 4 stems of bells of ireland were enhanced with two sprays of waterproof fiberobtic light strands. It's hard to tell because it wasn't dark yet...but when the sun goes down, it creates a very lounge-like feel!

Each cylinder was flanked by two small vases with an orange protea and orange marbles. This entire look only contained a few stems of flowers but created a HUGE statement! Love that bang for your buck!

The toss bouquet

The other style of centerpiece were these striking candelabras with a vase of proteas and orange dahlias and lined with variegated flax leaves.

The room at the Shore Cliff Lodge looked beautiful with the draped fabric, beautiful linens, and a priceless ocean view (that you can't really see because of the sun) but trust me- it was stunning!

Congrats you two!!
