Look what showed up in the mail!!

Mother had some fun putting this beauty together! It's for the ceremony of our wedding this weekend.

Aren't chandeliers fun?!

Quite honestly I think it looks pretty good in the front yard.....thoughts?

San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden

So my mother and I just got back from a fantastic open house & tour of the San Luis Obispo Botantical Garden! It's located in San Luis Obispo, but feels miles away with its peaceful, lush garden setting. It is a great venue for a wedding, funeral, banquet, rehearsal dinner, etc. The Oak Glen Pavilion can accomodate 96 seated for a meal, and 110 for assembly seating. It can be rented for a half day (4 hours) or a full day (8am-10pm). They also have their own tables and chairs! I was too busy enjoying the complimentary appetizers and talking with Facility Manager, David Setterlund to take photos of the pavilion- but I got some of the ceremony area and garden! Take a look.....

There is a special space for life celebrations and dedications..

Each little silver disc in this sculpture is in memory of a loved one. Very neat!

Family weddings are always a treat! My cousin (Melinda's nephew) Cody married his soulmate- Julie, in June- and we were honored to do the flowers for their beautiful day!
