Rachel & John

Okay this one I'm really excited about! One of our favorite things about being in this business is the opportunity to become a part of family history. Doing the flowers for one wedding, and that leading to us being a part of her cousin's wedding, and her maid of honor, etc. Or in this case, a trio of sisters. We worked with Nicole in August 2011, now Rachel, and soon Adrienne in June! LOVE IT. The three of them are so different, but have fabulous taste and are a complete joy to work with! We are honored to be a part of this team! And seriously...check out how beautiful this is....

Please forgive the iphone quality of some of these photos! ha!

I'm obsessed with the attention to detail and texture going on here. The perfect rustic, elegant, european, warm, whatever you want to call it vibe! The chunks of tile are genius.

As you may or may not know, I have a love for creative chandeliers...the olive branches and hanging votives   are gorgeous! And the voluminous potted plants below are a great focal point and help frame the bride & groom!

Please take a few moments to absorb everything going on here....the baskets, the chevron, the hammered metal, the citrus, the levels, the tiles, the birds...love it all.

Tip: If you're getting married in the Catholic Mission downtown, any flowers you put on the steps or altar inside of the church must stay there- even after your wedding is over. BUT anything on the steps outside of the church (or on the pews) can be removed. So Rachel and John did a large display of potted plants to frame the entrance doors to the mission, then afterwards we transferred them to the cocktail area inside of the reception!
My pictures truly don't do this wedding justice- and I missed a lot of great details too. I'm really just looking forward to getting the professional photos and sharing them with you!!

Alyssa & Matt said "I do" on a sunny spring day at The Historical Jack House, nestled in the downtown area of San Luis Obispo. Her colors were peach, mint, grey and pink - the perfect color combo for April don't you think? Ha! That rhymed. Okay enough of me...down to the pretty!

So the details of the ceremony were hard to capture, so I'll explain. In the "windows" of the gazebo we strung various sized crystals which caught and bounced the sunlight around wonderfully! We also lined the four banisters with garlands. Down the aisle were alternating vases of mixed florals and baby's breath- hung on shepherd hooks and connected by scalloping ribbon.

The aisle vases were later transferred to the ceremony to add to the centerpieces- and the garlands from the gazebo created a floral hedge around the sweetheart table! Your sweetheart or head table will be in a lot of your photos, so it's a great opportunity for some visual impact! Remember that....
I love the patterned runner that they used on top of the linen, don't you?
Congrats you two!
